LINDA NORLIN
Founder + CEO
Linda, native to the PNW, grew up in the Hood Canal area and graduated from the University of Washington. Her and Jason were married in 2004 and spent the next five years immersed in their careers and traveling before starting their family. Today, Linda is a devoted mom to three kids, actively participating in their lives, managing their busy schedules filled with sports, skiing, and school commitments. The family's love for travel is a constant, and amidst the hustle, Linda manages to find time for herself, indulging in activities like reading and occasional weekends away with Jason or friends.
The inception of ICDC, Linda ventured into house flipping in 2017 when she purchased her first property. This dream had its roots in Linda's childhood, where, at the age of 8, she felt a calling to transform her space. A can of pink paint from the shed marked the beginning of her creative journey.
Her journey unfolded as she honed not only her eye for beautiful designs but also a remarkable aptitude for the construction process. Linda's unique ability to foster enduring relationships with some of the industry's finest trades quickly established her as a reputable figure in the field. Today, she is known not just for her aesthetic creations but also for her proficiency in navigating the intricate world of construction, making ICDC a testament to Linda's dedication and expertise in transforming spaces into both beautiful and functional environments.
IVAN
Project Manager
Ivan joined IC Design Co in 2019, initially collaborating with Linda on one of her house flipping projects, beginning a wonderful partnership that has helped ICDC grow to the business it is today. Being born and raised in Ukraine, Ivan brought with him a background in construction that dates back to his formative years. Upon relocating to the United States in 2017, he obtained a general contractor license and established his construction company.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Ivan finds fulfillment in family life, spending quality time with his wife Nadka and their five children. Actively engaged in his church community, Ivan is committed to contributing to the well-being of others. The love for travel and skiing is a shared interest within his family, creating cherished moments outside the realms of work and religious engagements.
What sets Ivan apart is his innovative approach to construction. He not only excels in traditional practices but also embraces inventive solutions to enhance project outcomes. A dedicated father, Ivan involves his boys in various home projects, emphasizing the importance of a robust work ethic and instilling enduring values in his children. Their collective efforts are evident in the comprehensive remodeling of their entire home. Ivan's interests extend to the restoration of old motorhomes, which has lead to many wonderful travel opportunities for his family. Currently, he is a prominent figure on IC Design Co's Instagram page, showcasing their work, yet always aspiring for greater accomplishments.
Ivan and Nadka completed the Naturalization process into the United States in 2023, Congratulations!
